The Exhibitions, Bubbles on the Surface II in 2007, and Bubbles on the Surface 2006, are artistic responses by Aboriginal co-researchers, to the ARC funded project, Bubbles on the Surface: a place pedagogy of the Narran Lake . In 'Bubbles on the Surface: more than a catalogue', artists’ stories connect images of place and creation stories of the Narran Lake, its water stories and its place in the lives of people living today. The cover image, Shell Middens, Narran Lake Nature Reserve (2006) is by Daphne Wallace.
